At the Steinburg, our four terraces and further open areas are so remarkable that they are in a class of their own.

Our panoramic terrace and sun terrace areidyllic spots for lovely sunny days and balmy evenings. When you sit under the great shady trees of the chestnut terrace enjoying the view into the Main valley time seems to stand still.
And whether you use the Refugium’s terrace, or get comfortable on the steps of the patio, or simply wish to stretch your legs in the vineyard during a break, you will always be rewarded with a striking view of Würzburg.

Plenum

Our largest Conference room: Plenum

The largest room in the Refugium has an area of 196 m². The large glass front makes the plenum very bright and offers a view of the baroque city of Würzburg and the Main valley. When the weather is fine, direct access to the terrace allows for a short break in a breathtaking ambience, both for group work and for coffee breaks. Up to 160 people can hold meetings in this room.
Welcome your guests with a delicious aperitif in the adjoining inner courtyard and enjoy your coffee break on one of our terraces.

Meetings in a smaller circle: Gremium

Situated right next to the vines of the Würzburger Stein, the 33 m² Gremium offers the perfect space for smaller meetings and discussions. Of course, the Gremium can also be booked as a group room.

Since 2016, our WorkingWalls have provided guests with multifunctional ‘working walls’. This makes the room ideal for team meetings and creative processes.

Lecture theatre with a view: Auditorium East

The ideal environment for concentrated work can be found in Auditorium East, right next to our vineyard. The room is 57 m² in size and can accommodate up to 45 people. A beautiful loggia makes it possible – even in bad weather – to enjoy creative breaks with a view of the city.

Fresh air, fresh mind: Auditorium West

At 54 m², the Auditorium West is a perfectly equipped conference room for up to 45 people with a view of Würzburg. A marvellous loggia and the adjoining terrace provide the perfect balance during breaks.

Together, the two conference rooms cover an area of 111 m² and provide the ideal setting for your conference for up to 90 people (can be divided into 2 rooms using a partition wall).
