Situated in the center of today’s Steinburg complex – between the Mediterranean Landschloss and the modern Refugium – the Traumschloss is in a sense the Origin of the Steinburg.
As early as the 13th century, a Hohenlohe castle was erected in this place. In 1958, this first building of the Steinburg then became a hotel. Today, you reach the classically elegant Traumschloss rooms by stairs.The stately rooms have been uniquely styled and will enchant you with their charm.

Refugium
Calmness and simplicity – the Refugium is the modern extension of our hotel.
The rooms and junior suites welcome you with their pleasantly and cleanly structured design, partially open bathrooms and earthy natural and wood tones. Everything invites you to linger, reflect and enjoy.
The rooms located on the south side of the Refugium give on the incomparable panoramic view over the city available only from the Steinburg. Stylishly modern hotel rooms, unrivalled in Würzburg.

The Schlosshotel Steinburg is composed of three sections: The historic buildings Traumschloss and Landschloss as well as the modern building Refugium. The areas feature numerous individually designed guest rooms, suites, conference and event rooms, the Café and Steinburgs Restaurant, the SteinReich (the Castle Vaults), our wine cellar in the Würzburger Stein and places to meet and relax such as our pool and sauna.
